The Council adopted the unaudited 2021/22 Annual Report at a meeting on Thursday 15 December 2022.

The unaudited summary document [PDF, 628 KB] provides a higher-level overview of the Council’s activity for the 2021/22 financial year, which was another year of change and challenges for the Council.
Council has elected to publish an unaudited version of both of these documents. Our auditors have again deferred the audit, because of an auditor shortage in New Zealand as a result of COVID-19. This delay has resulted in the Council being unable to meet its statutory reporting deadline of 31 December 2021. We publish the unaudited documents in the intervening period, to ensure transparency to our community. Actual audited results are likely to vary from the information currently presented and these differences may be significant.
